The Universal Ministries, Non Denomination Non Profit Church Organization, constitute a Charity Organization whose charity and humanitarian objectives are as prescribed in the Statues of the Church namely to propagate the Christian way of life in contemporary society, and to promote and support religious, cultural, charitable and social works of particualr concern on THE STREET CHILDREN OF GUATEMALA, to offer them their moral, intellectual and economic support to all the needy person. in accordance with the Christian aims incorporated in the Organization..
Universal Ministries is committed to building long-term community benefits for the street children of Guatemala City. Humanitarian efforts are our vision is to bring relief to the street children and elderly people where it is needed most.
Each year, thousand of girls and boys run from home and are exploited — they are raped,
enslaved in the prostitution, or forced to work in stone mills. Universal Ministries, with your help is ready to provide protection, recovery, care to help them to build a lasting future.
Though the majority of the street children manage to earn or scavenge their daily food , they are denied the basics of survival, all street children and ragpickers are:
- Abused and exploited.
- Deprived: lacking job, money, food and shelter, they are forced into begging, thieving, drug peddling, pimping, and prostitution.
- Regarded as juvenile delinquents and antisocial elements, they are often falsely accused of crimes and sent to secure homes of correction, or worse, put into adult prisons.
- Engaged in gambling, a popular pastime on the street.
- Denied education.
- Cut off from parental influence and guidance.

Our Commitment
We work in partnership with Charitable Organizations. Our ministry strengthens the local churches and Charitable Houses through a partnership that reaches out to street children and families in their local communities.
We commit to directly impact each child's individual development. We've seen over and over again that what happens in the life of a child is much more significant than what happens in the environment that surrounds the child.
We commit to use Donations for the purpose for which it was raised. Funds must be used to develop the street children in Guatemala City.
We commit to give every street child we can help in a chance to respond to the gospel. Every child who is assisted is given the opportunity to learn about Jesus and discover how to develop a lifelong relationship with God.
We commit to the highest industry standards for the use of funds. We'll keep our administrative and fund-raising costs as low as possible, balancing this with the need for quality and integrity through the ministry.
