WORLD CHILD MINISTRIES

Sponsoring Children through Our Child Ministries

Many children in poverty feel unloved and unimportant, but you can change that. By sharing your love and prayers, you can make a remarkable difference in a child’s life.  Our Mission is devoted to helping poor children by releasing them from spiritual, social, economic and physical poverty.

Our Child Ministries throughout the World

Universal Ministries is a worldwide network of Child Ministries that are connected by one common goal: to improve the quality of life for impoverished children. Our Child Ministries are staffed by dedicated people who are native to the countries in which we work. Currently, Universal Ministries works through a global network of Child Ministries located in four areas of the world:

  • Africa
  • Central America
  • Asia

Our Associated Ministries is a group of congregations drawn into fellowship by our recognition of the gift of Christian Unity offered to us through the grace of God.

We live in a community of rich diversity. Building community that is humane, compassionate and just requires real dialogue. To this end we are committed to ecumenism and to engaging and partnering with other faith traditions.

A Christian Ministry enabling you to become an advocate offering hope for child slaves, orphans street children, war-affected children, and other forgotten children of the world.

Every Child Ministries is a Christian mission dedicated to offering hope to children at risk, empowering children to overcome devastating obstacles so that they can become champions  of a better future.  Associated Ministries works to build community that is humane, compassionate and just. As a crossroad for communication and cooperation, we engage and equip congregations and others to address the many needs in many countries through advocacy, education and service

Our sponsorship program provides:

  1. Educational opportunities
  2. Health care and supplemental nutrition.
  3. Opportunities for safe, healthy recreation
  4. Opportunities to learn about important life skills

Most important of all, children are encouraged to develop a lifelong relationship with God.

Other purpose of our ministry is to collect donated medical supplies and equipment from doctors and medical facilities. The supplies are donated to the most needy clinics free of any cost, but with one stipulation. For every dollar amount of supplies donated, the clinic is to establish a credit system whereby, local Christian pastors and their families can receive free medical services.

People understand the importance and value of supporting an overall project.  Sometimes a church, business, group or individual will choose to support Universal Ministries directly as a whole. Their gifts benefit all the children at the host country and make it possible for more to come.  They also help to meet unexpected expenses like when the well that services the pastor home needed repair, like when fuel costs rose and it cost more to get food for the children, like when a worker was in an accident and needed help with medical costs.

We need your help. Please give generously to help this ministry continue to grow and get the truth of the Word of God out. Your generosity here will help feed the hungry and take care of the widows whose income is not enough to even buy their medicine.

We want to support those who build schools and hospitals, build homes for parents and children.

COMPLETELY SAFE

Your donation is being made with your credit card through PayPal which will establish a secure connection. All information submitted is completely safe and secure. Universal Ministries does not receive your credit card information, nor is your credit card information stored anywhere.

CONGO HERITAGE MINISTRIES

After a rich history in Rwanda, this nation experienced what we call the genocide of 1994. That genocide destroyed Rwandese society and resulted in the death of one million people. Many Rwandeses were displaced and became refugees in the neighboring countries, such as Congo, Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi.

After the genocide the country was full of widows and orphans and up to now they are still facing those problems.

During that difficult time is when the Spirit God revealed to Pastor Shinga a vision to start Heritage Ministries in Rwanda. At the time he could not fully understand but through much prayer the Holy Spirit convinced him to accept the vision.

In the Congo Heritage Ministries has meet with and ministered with orphans and is working to plant churches.

Pastor Shinga Muhoza Jeremie is a man of prayer. In 1996 he became president of his church choir. In 1999 he was appointed as a deacon in his local church. From 1999 - 2001 he attended Bible college in CONGO, Africa. From 2002 - 2004 he was appointed as assistant Pastor as an evangelist in his local church in Kigali, Rwanda, Africa. From 2005 he preached the gospel in neighboring countries including Congo, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Especially in the villages. It was during this time that Heritage Ministries was birthed.

From 2007 - present he has been serving as the senior Pastor in a local church in Kigali.
